1975 Bertram 46.6 Convertible

Power:

Twin Volvo D9 Turbos – 500hp each. Aftercooled. Bought new from the Volvo factory 4 years ago. Less than 200 hours on them. New engine room floor installed the same time as the engines. Automatic Fire Suppression system.

Batteries:

Starter batteries tied to 24v system and remainder of boat powered by 12v system. Each has its own charger.

Generator:

Fischer Panda 4kw – purchased new 4 years ago at the same time as the engines. Has less than 200 hours on it.

Flybridge:

Completely rebuilt with all electronics built in. Super structure was originally aluminum and was replaced with stainless steel structure. There is a combination Furuno Chartplotter, fish finder, Raymarine Radar, VHF radio, stereo system and Auto Pilot.

Bridge has two adjustable captain’s chairs which are situated so they can be rotated to put your feet up and watch the lures being trolled. There is also settee seating across the front of the console.

Fishing Equipment:

Vessel is set up as a fishing machine. It has rod holders all around the cockpit and 9 over the bait tank. She has two 35’ Rupp outriggers and a center rigger. It is also equipped with an electric downrigger.

Cockpit:

Completely rebuilt – now includes 50 gallon bait tank, built-in 4 cubic foot deep freezer, sink, storage and cockpit controls. Rear hatch to the lazarette has hydraulic assist.

Main Salon:

Teak cabinets, built-in wet bar with icemaker, L-shaped settee with storage underneath, swivel barrel chair, built-in flat screen TV and tackle cabinet. All surfaces covered with black marble with green veins.

Galley:

Located forward down. Has 2 built-in refrigerators, hot and cold sink with storage below, stove/oven, new microwave and coffee maker. Large full-height pantry cabinet with all teak trim. Starboard countertop and custom lighting. New freshwater system throughout vessel including hoses and pumps

Heads:

2 heads – one starboard and one ensuite in the master to port (which has separate shower). Vacuflush toilets.

Forward V-Berth:

New mattresses with storage underneath. Hanging locker and tool closet. Reading lights above both bunks.

Bilge Pumps:

Three sets total – one forward, one in the engine room and one aft. All have separate floatswitches.

Tender:

12’ Caribe with steering seat and outboard.
