1976 Islander Sloop

About 770 of these popular and capable Alan Gurney designs were built between 1971 and 1986. Designed with a fin keel and skeg hung rudder, the vessel was designed to be both comfortable and offer excellent performance. The salon table folds completely out of the way creating a very spacious and comfortable interior. Great example of this wonderful design in good condition. The current owner has owned the boat for seven years. Interior cushions were redone about five years ago and are in excellent condition.

Accommodations

Forward is a very comfortable V-berth with a large bed and storage. Aft to port is nice sized head with wet shower. Across is a storage locker. Aft is the main salon with a dinette to port. The table folds completely out of the way. To starboard is a settee that converts to bunk beds. Aft to starboard is the galley and aft to port is the nav station. Aft of the nav station is a quarter berth on the port side. Up the companionway is a large cockpit.
