A long galley on port provides ample storage and counterspace for creating elaborate meals for entertaining guests.   The three burner stove on port and a wide and deep stainless steel sink on starboard and the refrigerator/freezer nearby make handling tasks a breeze.  The galley is also a pass through between the salon and the aft cabin.  

Alegria, like all Hunter 54's from this era have a unique layout.  It is an aft cockpit cutter rigged boat with ample storage, even underneath the grated teak cockpit sole.  Aft of the cockpit is the dinghy garage in the transom. 

Entering the main companionway, straight ahead is the galley sink and storage.  To starboard is the entrance to the aft cabin and its accompanying head forward.  On port aft is a full navigation station and storage under the companionway steps.  Going forward is a long galley which leads into the salon.   On each side is a long setee with a folding table in the center.   Aft in the center of the salon is a second companionway with it's own dodger and screen.  

An entry way forward of the salon leads into the forward head.  On port is a large enclosed  head/shower combo and on starboard is a large vanity sink, mirror and storage.   Another entryway forward leads into the v-berth that is lined with cabinets along the sides.
