location icon San Pedro, United States
Year 1985
Length 59 ft

$99,500

A high quality raised deck cockpit motor yacht built in the Kong and Halvorsen yard in Hong Kong, "The Aunt Mary" is a rare model with a six foot cockpit extension, added in an Oregon yard after build and import. The three double staterooms all have private vacuflush heads with shower, and the separate stairways to the master stateroom aft and to the two staterooms forward provide added privacy for owners and guests. There is a spacious sundeck and a fly bridge with extended hard top plus another lounging area on the bow deck.

This vessel came equipped with twin Detroit 6V-92 Turbo Johnson and Tower diesels. The port engine was replaced with a rebuilt sister engine which has been installed but is not hooked up. The working engine has been run on a regular basis, and the boat is also equipped with bow and stern hydraulic thrusters, and Naiad stabilizers.

Priced with an eye to the engine completion work required, this vessel is offered by her motivated seller, and all offers will be considered. Call now for your private appointment to view.

Accommodations

Entering via the cockpit aft, a few steps take us up to the fully enclosed sun deck, a welcoming area with upholstered seating and table with chairs overlooking the West Channel. From the sun deck a ladder leads to the upper bridge deck and double varnished teak doors provide direct access to the salon - tastefully furnished with settees, coffee table and entertainment center - a gorgeous U-shaped galley that includes a full sized double refrigerator/freezer/icemaker and washer/dryer combo - and the lower helm.Just past the entry to the salon, a spiral staircase to port leads down to the master stateroom and ensuite head with separate shower. Returning to the salon and moving forward, beside the lower helm to port is a staircase leading down to the two forward ensuite staterooms and the engine room.

Doors port and starboard level with the lower helm open onto teak walkaround decks under Europa styling, with access to the bridge deck from the sundeck and internally via a ladder and hatchway at the starboard side of the lower helm. The bridge is enclosed at the helm with ample settee seating plus additional seats and loungers at the aft of the bridge. Engines

At the time of purchase in 2018 there were two matching Detroit 6V-92 Turbo Johnson & Tower 450hp diesel engines. The port engine seized and was removed then replaced by a rebuilt Detroit 6V-92 matching engine that is installed in the engine room but not hooked up. All parts to complete the installation to match the original are currently either aboard the vessel or in a nearby storage unit.

The original (starboard) engine has been run regularly, and the bow and stern thrusters are represented as being functional.
