The helm console of the Shamrock 219 Open has full instrumentation, a compass, a flush mounted Garmin GPS 720, and Horizon VHF. The leaning post contains convenient storage and hinges up for easy engine access. The deep, spacious cockpit with full transom provides added security and has a large fish box, a baitwell, and a convenient bait prep center. All Grand Slam models feature a gas shock-assisted engine cover for excellent engine access. The 219 Open has Shamrock's SP II drive system found on all Grand Slam models - a shallower propshaft angle lets the boat jump on plane quicker and improves handling. The hydrodynamically-designed pocket in the hull bottom directs a steady flow of water to the prop and provides improved shallow water capability. This system also employs a hull design that combines a smooth offshore ride with exceptional stability.
