2002 Jeanneau 370 Sun Odessey

San Pedro, United States

$69,500

This is a bargain for the next owner. Current owners have 2 boats and need this one sold quickly. With a new main sail and 4 head sails and a rebuilt Yanmar diesel with only 100 hours and new engine controls installed last summer. Bottom painted 3 coats 3 years ago. A noteworthy design and recognized as a stand out in the field of sloops, this is a great opportunity.

Bottom hauled out about 3 years ago with 3 coats of paint. New prop put on at that time. Interior is clean and in good shape. Private head and shower work and are in good shape. Has 2 private state rooms, one has a king sized mattress and the other a queen. Large salon with seating for 6-8 people comfortably. Boat sails and operates great.  with rebuilt engine by Byson Marine in Redondo Beach.

Manufacturer Provided Description

The Sun Odyssey 37 is designed by Jacques Faroux and utilises the numerous innovations that made the Sun Odyssey 40 such a success. This model is the two-cabin version, the layout is arranged around a salon / L-shaped galley with a traditional chart table to port along with a very large head with separate stall shower, while to starboard one will find a comfortable aft cabin. The owner's cabin is located forward.  The smooth lines incorporated in the deck layout show the latest in modern design approach: positioning the helmsman on the cockpit coamings for better visibility; greater stability due to increased ballast; and a large sail area for easy sailing in all conditions.

Accommodations

The Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 37 is a roomy coastal cruiser and this particular boat is the popular two-cabin layout.  There is a roomy V-berth forward with a large overhead hatch for plenty of natural light and ventilation.  The main cabin is very spacious with a U-shaped dinette to starboard, which is convertible into a third double berth, and a settee to port.  The traditional nav station is aft to port.  The L-shaped galley is at the base of the companionway to starboard complete with refrigeration, 2-burner gimballed stove and oven and double stainless steel sinks.  The head is aft to port with a separate stall show which is not often found in a 37' boat.  Aft to starboard is second private stateroom with a roomy double berth, plenty of storage, natural light and ventilation.
