2003 Hunter 466
*** $10,000 PRICE REDUCTION! ***
*** OWNER ENCOURAGING OFFERS ***
The owner of our 2003 Hunter 466 has just approved a $10,000 reduction in asking price to encourage buyers to take a closer look at this fine vessel. The owner is motivated to get her sold, and has requested this incentive to compensate for the cosmetic headliner damage. While on-the-hard in Georgia and Florida, the headliner was exposed to humidity, resulting in the separation from the overhead. The owner stated this vessel has no leaks, so once repaired, the headliner should be fine.
The vessel was purchased in Florida, where the current owner found her on-the-hard. He had the vessel relocated to Southern California, and has her berthed in Oxnard for easy access to the Channel Islands. This Hunter is cruising the local waters off the California coast at least once a month, which is a testament to this vessel being mechanically sound, but has never been sailed in Mexican waters. With a recent inquiry, there is current availability for 50' slips in San Pedro (based on marina approval).
Condo luxury in a cruising sailboat...
This Hunter 466 is a 2-cabin layout, with a forward v-berth and starboard aft cabin. The aft port is a dedicated workshop, and with her compliment of solar panel and wind generator, this vessel is ready to cruise. With her sloop rig and all lines leading to the cockpit, the owner has often single-handed his Hunter 466.
Structurally, this Hunter appears be very sound, and the only cosmetic flaws I noticed from the initial walk-through are with the headliner needing replacement and some crazing in the windows, both which have been considered in this fair asking price.

Versatility best describes the Hunter 466. Whether owners want to cross oceans or bays, bang around the buoys or just liveaboard, this boat has the capacity to do it all. The dinette area is large enough to handle the crew, but intimate enough for just two. Storage is plentiful as is the natural light and ventilation. Hand-rubbed teak and exquisite fabrics are in evidence throughout the grand interior. An innovative forward head arrangement splits the shower and head so both can be used at once. A large dual-opening refrigerator and freezer are central to the U-shaped galley. The Force 10 stove and oven, plus a microwave will make dinners a joy to prepare, while the island sink will have cleanup covered. Storage for everything is at hand including the recessed trash receptacle. The forward master stateroom rivals most yachts twice her size. Twin hanging lockers and lots of drawers make staying aboard easy and a great night's sleep is guaranteed by the innerspring mattresses. Entertaining is gracious with the open salon which incorporates a TV and CD stereo. Twin comfortable seats and a convertible cocktail table are located just forward of the extensive nav station with plenty of space for electronics and gear. Aft, owners have a choice of two layouts: dual staterooms or trade one in for an office / work area. Both are large, airy and comfortable.
