COMMENTS:

"Distant Traveler" was completed by her owner/builder in the spring of 2011. She was designed by Bruce Roberts-Goodson who delivered the vessel as a predesigned and engineered kit boat. Her owner built her in La Conner and Anacortes, WA and built to ABYC criteria, and inspected by Zenith Marine, surveying her construction (the April 11th, 2011, survey available upon request to serious parties). It was the owner’s intent to journey with her in addition to plying the local waters of Washington State, San Juan Island, Gulf Canadian Islands and three extended trips to and through Southeastern Alaska. We are told that she cruises at about eight knots and with her current tankage gives her a range of about 3500 nautical miles. Life happens, and it is time for her to have a new home. She is a proven long-range trawler and is ready to provide her next owner the opportunity for new adventures.
